Alaskan Alpine Club

Foxman's Raven, by John Reeves. Mid October 2003 - 10 July 2004, 1:06 PM.

It started. It grew. It reached 80 feet high. It was fun. We climbed on it. And it melted. There was much we did not know, and learned. There were rumors of bets on when the last ice would melt. It melted at precisely 1:06 PM, 10 July 2004. The photos are mostly of the side toward the road, with a couple on the back side.

Above is the reason it melted. Just another summer day in Fairbanks Alaska. And the ice introduced its true being before departing.

Below is John Reeves the ice sculptor, and his assistant color technition.
